Just a quick note from an internet cafe in Caracus, Venezuela. I had a really cool day in Caracus. I am on my way to meet a bunch of people for dinner and drinks. I won´t be back to the ship until late and then I´m heading out to the rain forest early in the morning. So I probably won´t post again until Tuesday night or Wednesday afternoon. I am so excited . . . Until then, I´ll be trekking through the rain forest . . .

I originally started this blog last August to document my final college semester participating in Semester at Sea. I had the time of my life sailing around the world with almost 700 other college students in 100 days, visiting 10 ports on 3 continents. In fact, it was so amazing that I decided to keep going. I extended my graduation and post-poned starting my new job. I’m off to Argentina from late January until late May to learn Spanish on another study abroad program. Then, I’ll come back and graduate (hopefully!!!). After that, I have until September and a dwindling savings account to play with. Who knows where I’ll end up!!! Stay tuned!
